*got pulled over yet again...*

and somehow didnt end up with a speeding ticket!?
i did get written up for my tint though, and got a tsk tsk for not having my plates on. i played the roll of the 'dumb girl' very well though...

i was doing 12 over, well more like 20 but i saw him first and started braking so he only got me on radar at 62. and doesnt that just make you think 'fuck!' when you see his brake lights in your rear view, and then all of a sudden hes on your ass with lights on...

i roll both my front windows down and open my sunroof...so he cant see the tint on my front windows and theres more light in the car so the back windows dont look as dark...

"why are you in such a rush?"
"oh, i dont know. i thought i was only doing 7 over."
"do you know what the speed limit is?"
"50."
"yes, and i got you on radar at 62. that was after you started braking."
"ooh, well when i looked down i saw i was doing 57, i swear."
"hmm, i doubt in a car this new the speedometer would be off by that much..."

he looks at my back windows...

"can you roll up this window please..."
"umm okay"
"yeah, the tint you have on these front windows is illegal. im not going to write you up for speeding, but i am going to write you a fix-it ticket for the tint."
"ooh, okay sir, i didnt know. can you not have your front windows tinted?"

i know full well what the legal percentage is but im playing dumb here and hes falling for it, and i know he is b/c he lies to me...

"no you basically cant have your front windows tinted at all, the legal limit is what your windshield is so its pretty pointless to have tint on them."
"oh, alright, i didnt know that."

dumbass chp. i give him my lic/reg/ins...he walks back to his car...then back to mine and to the front of my car, where i have no license plate, and only the dealer plate on the back...

"where are your license plates?"
"in my trunk."
"you've had this car for over eight months why havent you put them on yet?"
"oh, well since they're personalized it took a while to get them switched over from my last car. and i keep meaning to put them on when i wash my car but lately ive been going through the auto carwash so i guess i just forget..."
"okay well i suggest you get them put on before you get this fix-it ticket signed off. if the tint was done at the dealership take it back there and they'll have to remove it, they know this is waaay too dark. otherwise youll have to pay to have it taken off. you do need to slow down though, im not writing you up for speeding, but in the rain when the roads are wet like this accidents happen so easily. im sure your car handles very well, but you just really need to stick to the speed limit."
"yeah. im sorry, ill pay more attention to how fast im going, this car just makes it seem like im going slower than i really am i guess."
"blah blah blah, be careful pulling out of here."
"thanks, have a good day!"

i'll pay the fine instead of removing the tint, take my luck on that and with the plates...8 months and this is the first time i get questioned about it, lets see if i can get through the rest of my lease (16 months) without another fix-it...

usually after one gets a ticket/warning whatever, they slow down for a while...of course i dont...im driving home down a 4 lane road, the limit is 35, theres a car next to me, we're both doing 50...on a side street a ptown cop is hiding. i get that feeling again 'fuuuck, im not this lucky, im NOT getting out of this one..." but dude gets behind the minivan in the other lane (instead of me, with my tint and no plates and whatnot) and he pulls the minivan over, making no motions to try to get me as well. i drive off not believing that im not getting a ticket for this.

i dont think i have the ability to drive the speed limit. i also dont think i have the luck to keep eluding a ticket...
