*KATO ON THE COBB*

PRE-MADE COBB SALAD FROM SAFEWAY.
MMM TASTY! PRETTY GOOD FOR A READY TO GO SALAD, BUT THE REDWOOD CAFE COBB IS STILL MY FAVORITE. ROSENS EASTSIDE GRILL USED TO HAVE A DELISH COBB SALAD BUT THEY CHANGED OWNERSHIP A WHILE BACK AND I HAVENT BEEN THERE SINCE, I HOPE ITS STILL ON THE MENU. (MAKING A MENTAL NOTE TO EAT THERE NEXT WEEK. TO SEE...)

HEIDI WAS ADORABLE, UNTIL SHE POOPED IN MY FRONT ROOM! SHE WAS FREAKED OUT BY THIS BALLOON AT FIRST, AND WE KEPT WAITING FOR IT TO POP WHILE SHE WAS GNAWING ON IT BUT IT DIDNT. =)

MY GARBAGE CANS ACTUALLY HAVE INSTRUCTIONS ON THEM
1. GRASP HANDLE
2. TILT
3. PUSH OR PULL

HAHAHA WHY DO I FIND THIS SO AMUSING?

fuck. fuck. fuck. theres no way im getting out of this, i have NO exucse.
he asked for my license.
'you live in sonoma kathryn?'
'yes officer.'
(ive determined that they REALLY like it if you keep saying 'officer')
'do you know this road is the most dangerous road in sonoma county, this road alone has more than 200 deaths blah blah blah...'
'oh shit. i didnt know that' (duh duh der)
'did you look down to see how fast you were going after you passed that car?'
'no officer.'
'well i clocked you on radar at 58.'
(58?! what! which car was he even watching?!)
'im sorry officer.'
'when was the last time you got a speeding ticket?'
'umm, i cant remember, i dont have anything on my record.'
'alright. well. you NEED to slow down.'
'yes officer. thank you.'
'have a good day.'

*monkeys as dinner?*

the "bush-meat" market

*anime, anyone?!*

http://www.answers.com/anime&r=67

ive spent like the past 3 hours reading/seeing some really weird shit that i just dont understand. i cant even remember how this all came about but i started reading some high school kids live journal and it just got outta control from there and now im lost in this world of anime and japanese words and phrases i have no clue about, and the kids posting about all this stuff, and the drawings and the sex and incest and war and violence...honestly it scares me. i have this really bad feeling that this is what its like to be a parent, and you think you know your child and you go snooping around and find something they're into that you just do not understand and then you realize you really dont know your kid at all. id so much rather have my teenager shooting up heroin or smoking crack or robbing liquor stores than being into this weird anime shit. i guess thats just b/c im down with smoking crack and robbing liquor stores though. =)

heres a few links to freak you out and/or confuse you...

*THIS IS HILAARIOUS! THANK YOU KT!*

PawSense(TM)

catproof your computer

cat surfing the Web?

When cats walk or climb on your keyboard, they can enter random commands and data, damage your files, and even crash your computer. This can happen whether you are near the computer or have suddenly been called away from it.

PawSense is a software utility that helps protect your computer from cats. It quickly detects and blocks cat typing, and also helps train your cat to stay off the computer keyboard.

    taskbar with PawSense
  • Every time your computer boots up, PawSense will automatically start up in the background to watch over your computer system.

  • Even while you use your other software, PawSense constantly monitors keyboard activity. PawSense analyzes keypress timings and combinations to distinguish cat typing from human typing. PawSense normally recognizes a cat on the keyboard within one or two pawsteps.

  • If a cat gets on the keyboard, PawSense makes a sound that annoys cats.
This teaches your cat that getting on the keyboard is bad even if humans aren't watching.

    cat-like typing detected

  • Once a cat has been recognized, PawSense blocks the cat's keyboard input. This keeps the cat from entering lots of commands to your programs or operating system.

  • PawSense also includes a screensaver mode, which features extra-sensitive cat detection, protection, and sonic training and a one-click escape button.

  • We make our software easier to use with a printed, bound manual. We know that trying to read computer help files and use software at the same time on the same computer screen is a nuisance.

  • Additional advanced features provide maximal flexibility and effectiveness.

  • Now available for Windows 95/98/ME, NT, 2000, and XP.

*I GOT 15 RIGHT*

(HA! i just forced mike, totally against his will to let me do this test on him...and the bastard goes and gets a higher score than me...now of course hes gloating, i shouldve known better...)

The average person only gets 7 right. This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see!

There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives. How many can you get right? These little simple questions are harder than you think-- it just
shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace things of life.

Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or computer!

Can you beat 20?? It is nearly impossible for any normal person to get higher than a 20 (The average is 7). Write down your answers and check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all the questions.

REMEMBER - NO CHEATING!!! BE HONEST!!! That means no looking at your phone or anything on your desk...

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. - If not, just have fun!

Here we go!

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there in the USA? (Don't laugh, some people don't know)

14. Which way do fans rotate?
