*THIS IS HILAARIOUS! THANK YOU KT!*

PawSense(TM)

catproof your computer

cat surfing the Web?

When cats walk or climb on your keyboard, they can enter random commands and data, damage your files, and even crash your computer. This can happen whether you are near the computer or have suddenly been called away from it.

PawSense is a software utility that helps protect your computer from cats. It quickly detects and blocks cat typing, and also helps train your cat to stay off the computer keyboard.

    taskbar with PawSense
  • Every time your computer boots up, PawSense will automatically start up in the background to watch over your computer system.

  • Even while you use your other software, PawSense constantly monitors keyboard activity. PawSense analyzes keypress timings and combinations to distinguish cat typing from human typing. PawSense normally recognizes a cat on the keyboard within one or two pawsteps.

  • If a cat gets on the keyboard, PawSense makes a sound that annoys cats.
This teaches your cat that getting on the keyboard is bad even if humans aren't watching.

    cat-like typing detected

  • Once a cat has been recognized, PawSense blocks the cat's keyboard input. This keeps the cat from entering lots of commands to your programs or operating system.

  • PawSense also includes a screensaver mode, which features extra-sensitive cat detection, protection, and sonic training and a one-click escape button.

  • We make our software easier to use with a printed, bound manual. We know that trying to read computer help files and use software at the same time on the same computer screen is a nuisance.

  • Additional advanced features provide maximal flexibility and effectiveness.

  • Now available for Windows 95/98/ME, NT, 2000, and XP.

*I GOT 15 RIGHT*

(HA! i just forced mike, totally against his will to let me do this test on him...and the bastard goes and gets a higher score than me...now of course hes gloating, i shouldve known better...)

The average person only gets 7 right. This is based on U.S. info, so use all lobes of your brain. This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see!

There are 25 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives. How many can you get right? These little simple questions are harder than you think-- it just
shows you how little we pay attention to the commonplace things of life.

Put your thinking caps on. No cheating! No looking around! No getting out of your chair! No using anything on or in your desk or computer!

Can you beat 20?? It is nearly impossible for any normal person to get higher than a 20 (The average is 7). Write down your answers and check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all the questions.

REMEMBER - NO CHEATING!!! BE HONEST!!! That means no looking at your phone or anything on your desk...

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. - If not, just have fun!

Here we go!

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the top or bottom?

2. How many states are there in the USA? (Don't laugh, some people don't know)

3. In which hand is the Statue of Liberty's torch?

4. What six colors are on the classic Campbell's soup label?

5. What two numbers on the telephone dial don't have letters by them?

7. How many matches are in a standard pack?

12. How many channels on a VHF TV dial?

13. On which side of a women's blouse are the buttons?

14. Which way do fans rotate?

15. How many sides does a stop sign have?

16. Do books have even-numbered pages on the right or left side?

17. How many lug nuts are on a standard car wheel?

18. How many sides are there on a standard pencil?

19. Sleepy, Happy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey, Doc. Who's missing?

*KATO ON THE COBB*

during a long lunch yesterday at red grape we came up with the idea that since i love salad, and i love taking pictures, im gonna start documenting and rating all the salads i eat. we decided this project will be called *Kato On The Cobb*

heh heh heh...

reminds me of that time yeeeeears ago when the lady at lyons asked kramer if the tuna melt she had ordered was the best one shed eaten that day, who eats more than one tuna melt a day? hah!

so i only have two salads to rate so far, and im gonna have to say the red grape cobb was the best tasting, but the redwood cafe cobb was more pleasing to the eye. one of the best salads i can remember eating was the cobb at rosens eastside grill, but they changed ownership and i havent been there in a while so i dont know if thats still on the menu, ill have to remember to check that out.

more salads to come...!

on a totally random side note...im going to be getting my motorcycle license this summer. thats pretty much going to be really fucking awesome!
